Manda Graizel grew up just outside of New York City in Teaneck, New Jersey, before attending college at Clark University where she studied Sociology, and Holocaust and Comparative Genocide Studies. After college she spent three years working for Hillel, first as a Jewish Campus Service Corps Fellow at Syracuse University and then as the Program Director at the Hillel at the Claremont Colleges. Manda then received a Masters in Education with a focus in outdoor and experiential education at The American Jewish University before moving to Israel for a year of study. Afterwards, she moved back to New York City where she worked as the Regional Director for BBYO, Big Apple Region #12 before moving back to Los Angeles to serve as the Diller Teen Fellows Program Coordinator.
In her free time, Manda enjoys cooking, reading, practicing yoga (especially aerial yoga), spinning, going to concerts and traveling—favorite trips have been to Budapest, Poland, Italy and of course Israel.
