JCAMPjr is an arts and adventure summer camp program with monthly themes for children ages 2.5-5 years. July will focus on Earth/Adama and August will focus on Water/Mayim. We will explore the possibilities of these themes, all under the umbrella of and enriching Jewish Early Childhood Education curriculum, through music and movement, stories and plays, light, art (including clay, glass, paint & recycled materials), science, cooking, group games and, most importantly, play.
WJCC Preschool Families are given priority registration until Friday, May 11.
Families not enrolled in WJCC Preschool must attend one of two Open Houses:
Tuesday, April 17 at 9:45 am
Thursday, May 24 at 9:45 am
Our intentional summer experience invites the children to explore, investigate, encounter and have fun while engaging in activities that excite them and spark curiosity. Nestled in an urban environment, our campers will explore nature, play with open ended materials and create projects that emerge from their interests. Each Friday we will have a Shabbat celebration and “Fun Friday” activities.
Throughout each theme campers will meet specialists that will bring in different activities to enhance the children’s experience at camp.
Swimming (for children 4 and above)
Supervision will be provided by SwimRight Academy lifeguards. Swim days will be announced before camp begins. On swim days children should wear their swimsuit to camp, bring a towel, flip flops, and change of clothes.
Our staff are certified, experienced early childhood professionals who create a loving, safe, supportive and exciting environment for your child. Specially trained CITs (Counselors in Training) are also part of our summer staff.
Camp hours are flexible with a 3 or 5 day options, as well as half day, full day, and extended care hours.
