Children need to be 2 by August 31 to begin in our 2-year-old transition program in September. Small group tours are available for all preschool age children beginning in October, the year before your child will attend, and can be scheduled by contacting Ellen Greene, Director of Early Childhood Education. She can be reached by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 323.556.5251. Registration for the school year that begins in September takes place in late February. After you have toured, you will be placed on our priority list to receive your application by mail. Applications are accepted and processed on a first come, first served basis with priority given to our current school families, siblings of former students and Westside JCC members. You will be notified by mail of your acceptance to our program by the beginning of April. Enrollment to our Early Childhood program is a privilege of Westside JCC membership. Membership dues are not included in the tuition fees and are paid annually.
Westside Jewish Community Center provides scholarship support to families participating in our Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten programs. Awards are made based on financial need. Scholarships are provided with the support of the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles and the Jim Joseph Foundation.
