Children need to be 20 months by August 31 to begin in our transition program in September. We offer programs for children ages 20 months-5 years old. This includes our transitional kindergarten so that children with fall birthdays have a home here until it's time for kindergarten. Small group tours and/or open houses are available for all preschool age children beginning in October, the year before your child will attend, and can be scheduled by emailing Lauren Friedman, Director of Early Childhood Education by calling 323.556.5202. Registration for the school year that begins in September takes place starting in March. After you have toured, you will be placed on our priority list to receive your application by mail. Applications are accepted and processed on a first come, first served basis with priority given to our current school families, siblings of former students and Westside JCC members. Enrollment to our Early Childhood program is a privilege of Westside JCC membership. Membership dues are not included in the tuition fees and are paid annually.
Westside Jewish Community Center provides financial support to families participating in our Preschool programs. Awards are made based on financial need. Information about scholarships will be included with registration.
