JBU also provides a unique opportunity to be a part of a community and create lasting friendships.

JExplorers

Your Jewish Journey. Together. Grab your passport and get ready to take off on your very own Jewish adventure with Westside JCC’s JExplorers program. Our goal for each of our explorers (students) is to inspire their curiosity in a fun, interactive and informal environment. Highly trained navigators (teachers) will lead learning expeditions where our explorers will discover Judaism through a cultural lens. Using our unique ‘exploriential’ teaching method, participants will have hands on experiences learning about Jewish holidays and traditions, ethics and values, heritage, history, food, dance, music, art and basic Hebrew concepts.
